Open Question: Country music for someone that doesn't listen to it?

To be honest I have always and still do laugh at country music, im from the suburbs and live no where near cows or corn. My girlfriend however, born in the country loves country music, she has showed me several songs that I've taken interest in, but a majority can't help but laugh. These are some of the songs I do like, but I was hoping someone could give me a list of other songs that someone might enjoy that doesn't listen to country.
